Travel Day...Here We Come Ella!! June 13th

Finally, we are headed to the city of Wuhan today which means we will soon be in the same city as Ella!! Only 2 more days before we get to meet Ella!!

This morning we were able to sleep in a little and calmly get around for the day. Our train didn't depart until 12:30pm for Wuhan and Micki wouldn't be at the hotel to pick us up until 11am. So we enjoyed our morning eating breakfast and drinking coffee.

At 11am we did load up the van. With all of us and all our luggage we were packed in like sardines!

Micki helped us get through security again and found us a porter like we used in Beijing! We may have had to pay 100 yuan but it was well worth it. Micki came through for us but this time after the porter loaded our luggage he took it down a different way than we were allowed. Of course there was a little fear of what do we do if our luggage and porter weren't waiting for us on the platform as planned. Yikes, I didn't like that thought! Once Micki helped us find the correct line for us to be in to get loaded she took off. We were on our own! Let's hope the luggage shows up! Luckily it did. We didn't see it as soon as we got on the platform but I quickly saw him headed towards us with all our stuff!

We had great seats again, front of the train so that we could keep an eye on our luggage. And lots of room! This trip we watched some movies on our laptops, read, and again I blogged. This was a good chance to get my blogs caught up while I could still remember little details.

Once we arrived in Wuhan, Christine picked us up and made sure we got to the hotel. The evening was spent relaxing and ordering in room service. We were exhausted and did not feel like walking somewhere to get some supper.

Sounds like Echo, our guide from last time when we first met Ava, will get to be with us here in Wuhan as we get to meet Ella! We had requested this but weren't sure it would work out. She and other Holt families will arrive in Wuhan tomorrow. So excited!!
