Eight Months with Ella Bella

Here we go again, way to quickly...one more month in the books!  I think I love her more every month.  I don't know how that works because I've loved her since day one, but somehow as a mom I think our hearts just grow and grow.  Sometimes I feel like my heart might burst out of my chest.

Ella Bella, you amaze us everyday.  You are learning so quickly and your adaptability is unreal.  You are starting to look less and less like a toddler and more and more like a girl.  It's amazing to see how much you've grown since you came home.  It's hard to believe you've done all that growing in 8 months!  Slow down, please.  It's so hard to imagine life before you came along.  We love you so much!

1.  You celebrated your first Valentine's Day during the last month.  You had a party at daycare and both Baba and I came to hang out with you.  Ella, you brought home a haul of candy!  By the end of the weekend you had a new word to add to your vocabulary:  "Happy Valentine's Day"!
2.  You are loving daycare!  You typically come running to Mama or Baba when we pick you up but almost daily then you have to give hugs to your friends as you're leaving.  You continually get 4's for your grades for the day which is the best you can get.  You love the story teller and crafts.  And we see that you are learning so much.  You're a little sponge!
3.  You are doing really well with using the potty at daycare too.  Dry most of the time and pottying on the toilet at least 3 times per day so we are moving to underwear tomorrow!!  Whoop whoop, go Ella!!
4.  This last weekend we went to Coco Keys Water Park as a family to celebrate Ava's 3rd Gotcha Day.  You got brave while there.  You loved the lazy river and just held onto Mama while we swam round and round.  You also went off by yourself in the kiddie pool; meaning you moved up to 5 feet away from Mama :)  And you went down the water slide twice.  I have big hopes for you this summer.
5.  Ella, you love your sister!  She is a rock star in your view.  Everything she does you are soon to follow.  "Monkey see, monkey do".  She is also the easiest person for you to push her buttons and you love to do so.  I just think and will continue to think it's because you love and know her so well :)
6.  You and Ava spend hours and hours dressing up and pretending to be princesses, super heroes, chefs, train engineers, whatever you girls think of.   I love seeing you imagine and pretend together.  I pray that never goes away.  I love seeing you girls come out in all your outfits...I never know what I am going to see next.
7.  You love games and puzzles.  We have a Frozen puzzle that is still a little hard for you but it doesn't matter, you pull it out several times a week and work on it until it's finished at least a couple of times.
8.  As a family we play games on a regular basis.  Some of your favorites are Candy Land and Don't Break the Ice.   You sometimes lose interest half way through but you are learning your numbers and colors with all the games we play.  And you are learning to take turns.
9.  Your favorite show to watch is Daniel Tiger...this hasn't changed much through the months.  Whenever you get the chance to choose what you and Ava will watch for 30 minutes it's always Daniel Tiger!
10.  You also love books!  We could spend hours reading every night.  Reading books with you and Ava is a memory Baba and I will cherish forever.  Some of your favorite books right now are Bears Colors, Baby Animals, I Love you Stinky Face, Celebration City Train, and The Polar Express.
