Reading with Lau Lau before heading to the airport
February 22nd~Flight to Guangzhou
We all made it to Guangzhou safe and
sound and in one piece...what a relief :) Ava actually did great on
her first flight! Mom and dad were the nervous ones. The plane was
about an hour delayed due to “air traffic congestion”. Once we
pushed back Ava started taking her bottle but unfortunately we ended
up sitting on the tarmac for another 20 minutes before take off. Ava
was done with her bottle long before we actually took off. In the
air she ate Gerber treats and an entire bread roll from the airline
snack tray. Other than that we passed the time by tearing up a few
airplane magazines. But the important thing is she landed without
crying and her ears didn't seem affected by the pressure at all.
Thank goodness and we are hoping our long flight home will go as
smooth as possible too.
Leaving with 4!!!!!
On our flight to Guangzhou...eating and tearing up magazines. On China domestic flights we always got either a snack box (chocolate, sandwich, crackers) or a hot meal.
Our hotel in Guangzhou is equally as
nice as our hotel in Shanghai. We are living fancy in China! We
haven't done anything other than get checked into our hotel and put
little lady down for the night. The adults are getting ready to
order in room service and call it a night. Travel days make this
mama tired!
