The Teacher

Ava's first"I want to be a ___ when I grow up" is a teacher.  I love this and Matt and I get such a kick out of watching her teach at home.  Often her students names are her daycare friends...sometimes they do a good job and sometimes they are in trouble.  LOL!!  She sits on the library chair and works with flash cards.  She'll say things like "What is this?"  Holding a picture of a cow.  "A cow, that's right."  Or she'll ask us to point out the rectangle in the book we're reading.  I could listen to her all night.  If she wants to be a teacher still in 20 years, she will be a great teacher! 

Update on Ella

We received an update on Ella last night...these updates are seriously the best emails ever!!  We received an updated picture; she's growing so fast and she is such a cutie!  Love her so much!  We also received answers to questions we had sent. The Chinese government only allows 5 questions on a child at a time. And requesting updated pictures counts for one. So we always try to send compound questions...beating the system, right?!!  Ha!  Ella's growing and is now in the 20-25th percentile in both height and weight.  Seriously cannot wait to get my sweet girl in my arms. Never, ever letting go of her.
